Dr. Hoggan has been taking care of patients in the South Denver Metro area for more than 20 years, and he has experience treating a large variety of orthodontic problems. He loves being an orthodontist, and truly enjoys helping children and adults with their bite issues and their esthetic concerns. Seeing the transformation that happens during orthodontic treatment has brought him more satisfaction than any profession he could have imagined.

Dr. Hoggan received his D.D.S. Degree from the University of Washington, and completed a 3-year residency in orthodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He majored in history in college, and if he wasn’t an orthodontist, he would be a teacher. With that in mind, he loves to teach, he is happy to answer your orthodontic questions, and he does his best to explain complex problems in simple terms.

He treats patients young and old, with problems that are simple and complex, always trying to give them the individualized care that they need. His approach is conservative, providing children and adults with the treatment they need, while avoiding unwanted or unnecessary treatment. His philosophy is simple: treat patients the way that you would treat members of your family.

He and his wife, Georgina, have 4 children (3 girls and 1 boy), ages 6 to 14. Their lives are filled with soccer and basketball games, track meets, dance recitals, band and orchestra concerts, and dozens of other activities at church and school. As a family, they love to bike, hike, camp, and ski together. They also really enjoy traveling as a family, and Dr. Hoggan loves dragging his kids to interesting historical places, trying to share his love of history with his children.
